For the first time, Land Rover will offer visitors to the show thrilling 4x4 rides over a natural off-road course in the Land Rover Off-Road Arena. Passengers will experience the true breadth of capability that every Land Rover product offers and will also have the chance to drive the Land Rover’s most efficient product to date and the world’s first SUV with intelligent stop-start technology – the Freelander 2 TD4_e.
The Freelander 2 TD4_e is just one element of Land Rover's comprehensive green technology roadmap, which will drive the company to increasingly lower emissions and more sustainable technologies in the coming years. This is a key part of the £800 million investment in sustainable technologies being made by Jaguar and Land Rover.
