Shooting

The Shooting Exhibition at The CLA Game Fair attracts visitors from throughout the UK and abroad.

Gunmakers Row is the largest and most comprehensive in the UK with the greatest number of English Gunmakers and the leading importers as well as many related companies.

House of Shooting, is a new feature where a series of lively discussions will be held on topical shooting subjects. The CLA, The Gun Trade Association, BASC, CPSA, and other organisations as well as the leading shooting magazines will be debating, offering advice and answering questions on various current topics.

The Clay line is run by John Bidwell and offers a wide range of stands appealing to experienced, occasional and newcomers of all shooting disciplines. For full information on the clay line please click on clay line on the right of this page.

It should be noted that those bringing guns can make use of the gun storage facility located on the clay line. Those bringing guns and intending to buy cartridges to shoot on the clay line must carry their shotgun licence.

Newcomers and beginners - Please visit the Start Shooting Advice Stand for a one stop advice point. Tuition is available on the clay line from BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation), CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) and Countryside Alliance.
