A new competition with daily winners in Gold, Silver, Bronze, Ladies and Junior categories. The overall High Gun over the 3 days will be the Platinum winner and wins the Famous Grouse Perpetual Trophy. All entries have the opportunity to win prizes in a Grand Draw over the 3 days.
Categories will be determined by using a new cut off system worked out from all scores highest to lowest shot each day. Further details on this will be displayed in the Entry Marquee.
Rod Finch Perpetual Trophy - 40 Bird Competition
Will be held on the Saturday of The Game Fair for juniors to be able to shoot the 40 bird competition for this trophy. Prizes; Perpetual Trophy for the winner and £100, runner up £50, third place £25, will be presented in the shooting arena at the end of the day.

Free prize draw entry when ticket purchased and contact information supplied. These are available for all shots. Tickets can be purchased to include cartridges. Guns are available on each of the stands.
A total of 8 stands provide a variety of different targets to suit both game and clay shoots: High tower, Decoy pigeon, Rabbit flurry, Auto sporter, Super trap, Springing teal, Super sporting, Decoy duck.
Price includes use of gun on the stand and ticket option to include cartridges. Special price on ticket for shooting all 8 stands.

High Lodge Try-a-Gun stands - sponsored by Sporting Gun Magazine
Gives the opportunity to shoot various well known guns and selected latest models. For visitors thinking of buying a gun a fast track system is available for the gun trade to take visitors to a stand to try before you buy.
£9.00 per ticket, includes 10 shots, use of gun of your choice and cartridges.

An excellent opportunity for newcomers to try shooting for the first time and advice and tipps for those that shoot. Guns and all equipment are provided

Muzzle Loaders
The Bath Muzzle and Breech Loading Association will be giving visitors an insight into the art of shooting these treasured Antique guns. The Association will be showing many of their Antique Guns and accessories on their stand.
The CLA Members Shooting Enclosure
A private shooting area for CLA and Game Conservancy Trust Members and guests only with tuition and competition stands.
The CLA and Game Conservancy Trust Members Shoot
An informal shoot for members of the CLA and The Game Conservancy Trust.
20 bird competition, daily prizes, overall high gun - The CLA Members Shoot Perpetual Trophy. 12 bird with tuition for members' children, ages 12 - 20, and wives or partners.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to shoot on a variety of other stands such as Duck flush and Crazy quail with daily cash prizes.
The Clay Line Vouchers
A money saving voucher to enjoy many of the stands can be purchased in advance - so if you are looking for the perfect gift shooting enthusiasts this voucher will hit the spot.

Shooting Arena
The Shooting Arena, in front of the grandstand on the clayline, will feature a daily packed programme that will appeal to all shots. For full details please see Shooting Arena page within this section.
Gun Storage
Safe storage is available for guns throughout the three days run by High Lodge. Opening hours 09.00 - 17.00. Guns must be collected by 18.00 each day unless they are being left overnight when overnight storage fees apply. Guns must be collected by 18.00 hours on Sunday.
£3 per gun and £2 per bag, additional £6 per gun for 1 night storage.
