The CLA - Overview
The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) is the membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses in rural England and Wales.
Together, CLA members own or manage approximately half of the rural land in England and Wales and more than 250 different types of businesses in a wide variety of sectors. This unique position allows CLA professional staff to formulate policies and lobby effectively in the interests of our members at EU, national and regional level.
CLA’s advisory team offers impartial information and specialist advice directly to members on issues that affect them including matters of law, taxation, environment, planning, land use and rural economy.
As a CLA member, your membership helps you to protect, enhance and develop your assets whether they are land, business, property or wealth.
